Chicory Tip played hits of the 60's and 70's while our guests enjoy an afternoon tea with loads of fresh strawberries. Thanks to The Great Stone Bridge Trust for a grant of £400 towards the cost.

Sat 10th May 2025 VE Day Vintage Tearoom

Rotarians, led by President Elect Terri Scanes, ran a vintage tearoom at Rickards Hall to mark the 80th Anniversary of VE Day. It was well supported and everyone had a great, nostalgic time.

The fabled test of your knowledge was played out to a full house at the Edenbridge WI Hall.. Ticket were just £15 to include a fish and chip supper, a bargain! Winners were "The Allotmenteers".

The meal was followed by a talk by local publisher and editor Laura Lawrence. Laura told members about her hugely successful local magazines, and about the up-coming "I Love Edenbridge" Day. The Club agreed to support this.

Tue 28th January 2025 Speaker Meeting

After the meal, Dr Simon Morrison gave a talk on "Friends of Edenbridge Medical Practice". Simon is current chairman of the charity, which aims to help make the new Practice serve the community.

Members enjoyed a meal, then a business meeting. The Lottery Draw was made: 1st Prize of £100 went to John Martin, second to Terri Scanes and third to Mary Cunnington.

Tue 26th November 2024 Speaker Meeting

A special meeting celebrated the memory of the late Sir Winston Churchill. There was a talk by Terry Cartwright and a glass of port to toast the immortal memory of the hero who was born 150 years ago earlier this month.

Business was discussed and the Lottery Draw made. 1st Prize of £100 was won by Paul Cottrell with Brenda Risdon and Karen Snewing taking second and third.

The Speaker was be Debbie Buckley on The New Edenbridge Residents Association (NEDRA). Nedra are doing a first-class job liaising with residents, the councils and the developers to help protect the Green Belt as more houses are being built in our area.
