Walk a Mile for Polio

Sat, Oct 21st 2023 at 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

A Guided Walk through the Historic And Fascinating Village of Sonning.
All profits go to Rotary’s Fight Against Polio

Gather at St Andrews Churchyard at 10.50am. Alternatively visit The Village Hamper on Sonning High Street from 10.am for tea/coffee etc and maybe meet Sonning’s village personalities.

£10 per person – pay with this link: Walk a Mile for Polio

There is a possibility that the more adventurous and agile walkers can scale the Tower at St. Andrews Church after the walk to get an aerial view of the village. We would like you please to make an extra £5 donation on the day to visit the tower.

We ask that you park in Sonning Lane or the Car Park opposite the entrance to Blue Coat School.(the centre of  the village has very few parking spaces).
It is only a short walk from there to the Churchyard or the Village Hamper.  Show on Google Map

Let's gather together and raise awareness about the fight against polio.
This event aims to unite the community in a fun and meaningful way.
