James Herriot trail Run 2022 Report

After early rain, conditions were ideal for the 174 runners who took part.

This was the first Herriot Run to take place under normal conditions after the Covid lockdowns. 200 runners registered but 25 did not run, possibly because of a bad forecast of rain? As it turned out, the light rain stopped shortly after thrace began! Conditions were then near perfect, the weather mild with little wind, and the ground quite soft but not muddy.

I have added 100s of photos taken from several locations on the Run but have encountered technical glitches that have prevented them being being sorted in proper order, so I apologise for that. Please use the carousel to flick through them if you wish.

NB Correction to Individual Winners;- 1st Lady home was Robyn Hawxby of York; 2nd was Andrea Banks; and 3rd was Helen Burrell of Swaledale Roadrunners. Our apologies for a technical glitch.
