Southern Wellbeing Partnership - April 2022

At our club meeting on 12th April 2022 we had a visit from Katy Murray of the Southern Well being Partnership. She gave a talk on a new initiative for two areas in the south of the island about "Local Area Coordination".


The initiative is described as: 'A model of support which focuses on identifying and supporting those who need help before they hit crisis and working towards building an inclusive supportive community around them'. Local Area Coordination will attempt to use its own resources and expertise to help others within that community.

Supporting Local Community Events

back Members are active in providing support at lots of events in the local community throughout the year, including: RNLI Tug of War, Festival of Brass and Port Erin Christmas Celebrations.
