Paul Harris Fellow Presentation Event

This year Rotarian Carol Cross was recognised as a Paul Harris Fellow


Paul Harris was the founder of Rotary which he started in Chicago USA in February 1905.

This award is given to a person whether or not a Rotarian who , in the opinion of the Club , has demonstrated outstanding commitment to the Rotary ideal of "service above self".

This year the award went to Carol Cross.

The clubs foundation chairman Najib Yousif gave the citation mentioning Carols fantastic work both in South Africa with the Khensani School and in the local community.

In addition to organising the very succesful Heatons Open Gardens event Carol also fund raises for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution .

The award was presented by District Governor Patrick Tyrrell and Club President Bill Caldwell.
