Spinal Unit Action Group

Potting Table and Raised Beds

The Spinal Unit Action Group in Southport (http://www.suag.co.uk/)is a very important home for  residents who have suffered spinal injuries. The residents enjoy gardening, but due to their injuries are often unable to enjoy this activity.

Members of Southport Links Rotary Club recently helped the organisation by building some raised beds and also some wheelchair friendly potting tables, which enable the residents enjoy a very satisfying hobby.

Thanks go to Firwood Timber (http://firwoodtimber.co.uk/) for supplying the materials for the tables.

Photographed are SUAG resident Jimmy Jones, Manager of SUAG Margaret Cheetham and members of the Rotary Club of Southport Links Barrie Rive and David Landy.
