Annual Charity Golf Day on April 19th 2018 raises £7,000 for local charities
Rotarian Tom Winkworth was once again the driving force behind a successful Charity Golf Day. The event was held at Whiteleaf Golf Club on Thursday 19th April 2018., 20 teams of 4 players had entered and the first 4 ball set off at 8.00am. The course was in excellent condition and the weather was wonderful.
Our thanks go to Barclays plc who matched the raffle takings of over £1000 together with the Auction Items and 4 Ball Vouchers. Dinner in the evening plus prize giving rounded off a hugely successful day in which over £7,000 was raised for worthy causes.
