On Tuesday 28th November, a plaque was unveiled at Dunbar's Mercat Cross.

The Mercat Cross has stood outside Dunbar's Town House since 1912 but there has never been any display of information about its provenance or significance to the town. Mainly through the efforts of Rotarian Judy Greenwood a plaque was commissioned and installed to give a little of the cross's story to passers-by. The plaque was unveiled on Tuesday 28th November 2017.
