Motor Neurone Disease Association
Southport Links Rotary donate to the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
At this year's Tarleton Beer Festival it was decided that some of the money raised would be donated to the Motor Neurone Disease Association, via a group of fundraisers, on behalf of local resident Rachel Cropper who was diagnosed with this awful disease back in 2004. Her fundraising team took part in the Liverpool Nightrider event, where she was pulled, in her wheelchair, over the 30 mile long course to raise funds for the MNDA.
We were delighted to present Rachel, her husband, David and friend and fellow fundraiser John Dickenson with a cheque for £1,000 for the MDNA.
