Penicuik in the Park 26th May 2018

The final event of Hunter and Lass week is hosted by Rotary Club of Penicuik for the benefit of the community and visitors to the town.


Penicuik in the Park is the final public event of Hunter and Lass week in Penicuik. It follows immediately after the Rideout organised by the town's Hunter and Lass Committee and the Parade organised by the town's Penicuik on Parade committee. The public then make their way to the Public Park where the Rotary Club of Penicuik arrange the final public festivities on two stages, provide duck races, a children's entertainer, toilets, first aid tent, a security controlled bar area and organise stalls for both local organisations and commercial vendors.

This event is organised for the the benefit of the local community and is an ideal opportunity for local organisations to meet the public, gain publicity and raise funds. 

Thank you to all who attended. Thanks also to Hunter and Lass and Penicuik on Parade committees for all their hard work in the weeks prior to their own events . Thanks also to Crystal FM for providing the sound systems and managing the stages in the park.
