International Night

At the Club’s annual International Night, on Monday 6th March, members heard accounts from two Rotary Global Scholars who are at present studying in Edinburgh.

Olivia Hernandez, from San Antonio, Texas, is studying for an MSc in International Development at the University of Edinburgh.  She has been sponsored by the Rotary Club of Houston.

Abigail (Abby) Deibert is from Chicago.  Her undergraduate degree is in Biology and her work background has been in healthcare as an Emergency Room Technician.  She is also studying for an MSc in International Development at the University of Edinburgh.

At the meeting the Club presented the Rotary Club of Dunbar Community Salver for 2016 to  Richard Taylor for his service to young people in the community.
