PRESIDENT'S DINNER

The Club celebrated its annual President’s Night at the Dunmuir Hotel on Saturday 26th November.  Among guests in attendance was the Rev Lawrence Twaddle.  President Bob congratulated Rev Twaddle on his recent appointment as minister at the Church of Scotland in Geneva.  Rev Twaddle will be taking up his appointment in January 2017.   At the dinner, President Bob awarded Paul Harris Fellowships to Gordon Coventry and Rob Renton for their services to Rotary and the Rotary Club of Dunbar in particular.

The following week President Bob presented a £150 cheque to the head teacher of West Barns Primary Scholl, Gillian Whitford.
The money will be used for a water tray at their nursery
 
Also this week Bob presented a cheque for £150 to the Pupil Council at Innerwick Primary School for purchasing of Scottish Literary Resources.
