Barnard Castle Rotary Club were pleased to support this competition, which allows our young people to have the opportunity to perform in front of an audience which some have not had before. We have been able to finance this event and give prizes due to a significant donation from a previous organisation, namely "˜Teesdale Brass Band Contest"™ which gave funding to our Rotary Club to be used for the continuation of music for young people.

It is planned that this will be an annual event and the next competition will take place on Sunday 5th November 2017 with entries in September.
