Purple Pinkie in Dunbar Primary Schools

Dunbar Rotarians have been visiting local primary schools to inform them about the progress that has been made by Rotary International's "End Polio Now" campaign.

End Polio Now

Over a period of two weeks, Dunbar Rotarians visited the primary schools at Innerwick, West Barns, The John Muir Campus, The Lochend Campus, East Linton, Belhaven Hill and Stenton.  During the visits the children were told about Rotary International's thirty-year campaign to erradicate the disease of polio from the world and how close we are to completing the task.  After the talk, children were invited to dip their pinkie in purple paint and mark a spot on the world map that is now free of polio.
