On Tursday 29th October 2015, Dunbar Choral and Dunbar Sings joined forces to offer a programme of music from James Bond, South Pacific, films from the 40s and other films from the 21st century.

Last week, Grahame Jackson, President of Dunbar Choral presented a cheque for £650 to Judy Greenwood, Dunbar Rotary President who explained that the singers’ donation is destined to support the work of Edinburgh Direct Aid. She added “This charity is a local and well-established organisation which does much-needed relief work for Syrian refugees in Lebanon, Lesbos, Croatia and Munich. I am confident that because the charity operates mainly with the use of volunteers, that all the money raised will be used to convey supplies from Edinburgh directly to the refugees with virtually nothing wasted on administration”. She then thanked Grahame and all those who had performed and bought tickets for the concert.
