Surprises at Annual Club Assembly and Handover - Tuesday 30 June

On 30 June, after a final report on his year as President, Dave Anderson handed over the reins to incoming President Tony Blenkinsop. Tony’s first task was to take three of our club members by complete surprise.

No sooner had Dave sat down after handing over to Tony but he was called to the front of the room again along with equally long standing Rotarians Colin Hunter and Bob Atack. Then Tony presented each of them with the Paul Harris Fellowship. This was well-deserved recognition for all the work they had put into Rotary over many years and an honour which the club members were delighted to confer on them.
