President's evening at the Riverside Inn, Aymestry

Wed, Sep 23rd 2015 at 7:30 pm - 9:55 pm

Tonight we enjoyed an evening of homespun entertainment as we celebrate our charter evening and Dorothy's presidency

This was a great evening of good food, good company and a variety of home spun entertainment. There were poems, prose, jokes, music and lively banter and the winnder of the Richard Morgan trophy for entertainment was President Dorothy Scott for her poem of her move from Kingsland to Knighton....very well deserved! But the highlight of the evening was the presentation of a Paul Harris award by Dorothy to Sheila Smith - a genuine surprise for her, and everyone was delighted and totally in approval. Sheila rarely says no to anything and is truly committed to our Club. Congratulations from all of us. A delightful evening for all who attended.
