Great Baddow Races Presentation Evening

The Rotary Club of Chelmsford Mildmay held a presentation evening for the Edmund Carr Great Baddow Charity Races. Roger Foreman, Chair of the races committee, thanked everyone who helped in the organisation of the races and those who assisted on the day. He gave particular thanks to the marshals, stating that feedback from runners was very thankful to them for their help and enthusiasm.
The accounts had not yet been finalised over £11,000 was raised directly for charities and over £3000 was raised by runners as sponsorship for their own charities.
St John Ambulance were promised a cheque of at least £6500 and a cheque for £1000 was presented to The League of Friends of Hargrave House.
In addition, cheques were presented to a number of local charities and organisations which helped us on the day of the races.
