Literary evening at Ffrydd House Knighton

This was an very enjoyable informal evening of members and friends favourite readings and a light supper
In place of our usual Wednesday meeting we had a relaxing evening of readings, banter and a light supper. All proceeds from the evening will go to our charitable efforts both locally and internationally. We started with readings from Howard and Pauline then had our first course beautifully prepared by our generous hosts Martin and Margaret. There were then readings by Kim, Norman, Andrea, Sheila and Paul. A break for very tasty puddings provided by Sheila, Ivan, Dorothy and Margaret before the evening rounded off by Ivan, Howard, Patrick and Brian....the theme was war poets but we also had humorous and poignant readings - a lovely variety well presented.....we look forward to the next time!
