Held at St Joseph's School, Reading

The District Final of this national competition across all the entire area of Rotary GB&I took place this Sunday, with a talented collection of winners from the various Club competitions across the Thames Valley and surrounding areas. 8 youngsters competed in the Instrumentalist section and 5 in the Vocalist group.  The winning instrumentalist was pianist Bella Bourne Swinton Hunter, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Banbury. Runner up was Ruthie Cheung, also on piano, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Ascot.

The winning vocalist was Florence Cain, sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of Loddon Vale and Reading Maiden Erlegh, and the runner up was Tavia Lewis, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Banbury.  Winners and runners-up go through to the South-east Regional Final on 26th April, which this year will be held in our District.

Florence Cain was winning Vocalist at the South East Regional Final and will be competing in the National Final on May 16! Good Luck to Florence!!!
