The film "The Sting" (starring Robert Redford, Paul Newman and Robert Shaw) will be shown at the Heart Of Hawick on Friday 6th February (6.45 for 7.00pm). The film is being shown is support of the activities of Scottish Borders Link of Chernobyl Children Lifeline. The charity was founded in 2001, and in the intervening years, has brought 110 children to the Borders for a month's health break from their polluted homeland. The children stay with families in the Borders from Stow to Peebles to Hawick to Eyemouth.
