Afternoon Tea Party

Hilary and Dale Worthington treated a group of residents to afternoon tea.

Rotarian Dale Worthington and his wife Hilary held a tea party for the Contact the Elderly group this afternoon - one of whom was approaching her 95th birthday and very spritely with it too ! They enjoyed lively banter for a couple of hours and it was good to see everyone enjoying themselves. For some, this monthly outing is their main contact outside the home. Eveann Grundy, the area co-ordinator is looking for more customers, so if anyone knows of an elderly person who would like to join the group, please contact the club.
