Annual Rotary Charity Curling Bonspiel

Make sure that you have Thursday 6th November 2014 in your diary as PERTH WILL ONCE AGAIN BE THE PLACE TO BE.

Your Rotary Club should be in Perth, joining the other Clubs from around the country at the Annual Rotary Charity Bonspiel (2 x 3 end games in both the morning and afternoon sessions), organised by the Rotary Curling Tours Scotland to Canada 2008 and 2012. This year you will have the opportunity to play against some of the 5/6 rinks from the 2014 incoming Rotary Canadian Curling Tourists. The Bonspiel will commence at 10am with the last rock thrown around 5.30pm followed by High Tea and the Prizegiving.

A raffle will be held with the proceeds being donated to a charity being set up to honour our good friend Matt Murdoch who sadly passed away earlier this year. Any profits from running the event will be donated to a Rotary Foundation Project.

You know that you will get good food—tea/coffee and bacon rolls on arrival, light lunch (chilli or chowder) & a two course evening meal, plus ice that will be a match for the best. The event will be a chance to have fun, and a great day out. You will meet lots of old and new friends, and contribute to a Charity, all for a fantastic price of only
