1.  Presidential Citation: deadline for submission, 31st March 2014


Has your Club President completed the Presidential Citation form?

Completed forms must be with District Governor Kate no later than 31 March

 
 
The election for the District Representative to COL 2016 closes at midday on Friday 28 March.  So far, half of the votes have been cast.
 
To vote, you need to respond to the email invitation sent from info@rotaryvote.org  There is a link included in this, which is the only way you can register your vote.  Please check your spam box if you are expecting to vote and have not received it.  Please contact me if you cannot find it and I will arrange for the email to be resent.
 
For your convenience I list the three candidates.  You will see them on the polling card when you cast your vote.

  • Allan Maclaughlan, Rotary Club of Currie Balerno
The results will be announced as soon as possible after the election closes.

3.  District Team 2014-2015

5.  District Vocational Service update

A revised version of the District Hobbies and Skills questionnaire is now on the District Website -  click questionnaire.  Please encourage Rotarians to fill this in.

6.  District Conference : Aviemore, 24th - 26th October 2014

Planning for the D1020 Conference is going very well.  Please take a moment to visit our website for the latest information on Speakers, Entertainment, Accommodation costs and the Registration form.  The link is:  www.1020conference2014.org.uk.
 
We are pleased with the steady flow of registration forms being returned.  However, we are very keen to see as many Rotarians and guests at the Conference as possible, especially those who perhaps have not managed to attend a conference before - and for everyone to have an enjoyable and stimulating weekend.
 
If planning an extended hotel stay, on the Wednesday/Thursday before conference or the Sunday/Monday after conference, please remember that the room rates for an extended stay are guaranteed to not change before the 31st March 2014.
