RotaKids is a very exciting project to be involved in. This involves young students aged seven to eleven, who, whilst enjoying being a member of a club, also learn about Citizenship, Maths, and English.

They design posters, raise funds for their own chosen charities, and decide how they are going to raise the funds!

They learn how to run their own RotaKids clubs (with a little help from a Rotarian mentor and a dedicated teacher!)

We now have two RotaKids clubs within D1040, both of these are at Batley. Our very first one was Chartered  on the 3rd May 2013, receiving their Charter from RIBI President John Minhinick and DG Keith Davison. And our second received their Charter certificate from DG Mark Stewart-Clark on Monday 11th November 2013.

The RotaKids, themselves, also receive Certificates and badges, and wear the badges with pride!
