ROTARY DISTRICT 1020 CHARITY WALK SATURDAY 25th MAY 2013
The purpose of the walk was three fold and at the core of Rotary Internationals values:
Raise funds for two very worthwhile charities represented across District 1020,
Encourage fellowship between members, clubs and communities
Achieve a Rotary World Record.
30 participating clubs walked to their neighbouring club(s) while joined by Inner Wheel, Rotaractors, Rotary Ambassadorial Scholars, Friends, Pets & Family and other members of the community. The inspirational way clubs have endorsed the project is impressive, with some very different approaches to dress, fellowship and celebrations.
