Rotary Technology Tournament 2013

This years Technology Tournament was held at Greenbank School on March 8th 2013


A challenging tournament that was enjoyed by all participants and judges alike.

The event's main sponsor is Lattimers, an innovative engineering company based in  Southport - http://www.lattimer.com. Support was also given by Tesco 
 
Here are the winners of the basic category, Team Techno from Stanley High School, photographed with VP of the Rotary Club of Southport Links, Bill Thomas, Rotarian, and driving force behind our club's involvement with the Technology Tournament, Ted Mason, and David Sykes, Director of Lattimer responsible for their training programme and their apprenticeship programme. This team won their category last year, whilst in year 8, and have returning to regain their title this year.

The intermediate category was won by the BIRKS from Birkdale High School, again for the second time.
