A successful fund raising event was held at The Denbigh Rugby Club in aid of the Nepal Fund on Saturday June the 13th 2015. A successful event, both in terms of good food, entertainment, and financially - making around £640, to go towards helping the citizens of Nepal. Thanks goes to Walter and his team for the work they put in to organise the venue, etc. Also Alwyn for preparing the vegetarian option and coleslaw, and for taking charge of carving the hog for us - hard work, believe me. Walter and Alwyn were ably assisted on the night by their wives, Anne and Betty. Thanks also to John Williams for his assistance and for the delicious apple pies made by his daughter, and to Gareth for supplying the cream. The event was well supported by both Rotary club members and non Rotarians, so many thanks to all for their support.
