During May the touring Rotarian Golf Team played two matches in the Stewartry, one at Kirkcudbright GC and one at Southerness GC. The Canadians were to go on to play many matches in other parts of Scotland before their return to Canada.
The Rotary clubs of Castle Douglas, Dalbeattie and Kirkcudbright played well with one drawn match and one win. The over all result was a narrow win for Scotland.
