Exmoor Challenge: Too claggy for Cleggy

Brit Valley took part in the Exmoor Challenge

The Exmoor Challenge: Hitherto to be known by Brit Valley as “A trek too far” or “Far Trek” for short.

Four members of the Brit Valley club enrolled for the Challenge which took place on Sunday 7th April 2024. Team members supporting President John Clegg were Bob, Tufty and Chrystine.

The course was planned to be 4 miles of beautiful countryside, but at 6 miles President John came to a brick wall and needed to be carried home - well that’s what happens in Far Trek ( club meetings sometimes too). It’s a good job first officer “Tufty” was on hand.

The challenge was completed by Chrystine (Uhura) and Bob who were part of the District 1200 team who went on to win.

Proceeds from the event will go to The Children’s Hospice South West
