Little Chalfont Area Dementia Support
A charity supported by our club
LCADS, Little Chalfont Area Dementia Support is a Charity, registered in December of last year, which set up two locations where dementia sufferers, and their carers, can meet. Cafe 22, started in February 2022 in Little Chalfont and Cafe 23 which started in Amersham last November, offer a meeting place for up to 22 people (including 11 carers). Volunteers ensure everyone passes a couple of hours in a relaxed atmosphere, among friends. Anette, Lynn and Brian informed our members of the wonderful work being done by this charity and the activities provided, once a week at these Cafes.

more This annual event in Drake Hall, Amersham gives 130 to 150 elderly residents of Amersham a wonderful evening out. As well as a great show, the audience can enjoy free transport, a free glass of sherry, a free raffle ticket and free interval refreshments.
