Walk a Mile for Polio - Blisworth to Stoke Bruerne

Rotary needs you to Get Moving to End Polio as only together can we end polio. Unless polio is totally eradicated across the globe, every child is at risk of this highly infectious, potentially life-threatening and paralysing disease.

On Tuesday 24th October 10.45 am Club members plan to meet athe Boat Inn, Bridge Road, Stoke Bruerne, NR Towcester, NN12 7SB for 10.45am from which Terry has arranged a shuttle to take you to either Start Point 1 at Blisworth Tunnel Entrance (for the longer walk of 2.75 miles) or the Start Point 2 between the two villages (for the shorter walk of 0.75 miles) ariving back at the Boat for a pub lunch



The Club has agreed to participate in fundraising to mark World Polio Day.  Open to family & friends but numbers are needed.  You can just Walk - or have lunch at the Boat - or both.  Contact a Member for details
