Rib Ride along the Menai Straits
The final throw of the dice by our retiring President, Helen, was to arrange for us to go on the Menai Straits Rib Ride. This was a most exciting, exhilarating and informative trip from Menai Bridge as far as Plas Newydd, the home of the Marquis of Anglesey. We stopped under the two suspension bridges, alongside the statue of Nelson and observed the changing currents of the Straits.
After the excitement of the ride we had an excellent meal at Dylan's restaurant in Menai Bridge.
