President Handover

We had a wonderful evening at River Cottage Kitchen and store for President handover.

Despite the very wet evening, members and their guests managed to visit the farm, transported in teams of 8 in a landrover.

We met the chef who later explained what our meal was going to be. The food was supberb. 

President welcomed all members and guests and thanked all Otter Valley Rotary members for their support this year.

He also thanked the staff at River Cottage for a wonderful evening

President awarded the F.A.R.T trophy to Keith Spittlehouse for his outstanding work in getting excellent speakers this year.

President - thanked Andrew Thomas for his hard work and commitment, despite leaving soon he has worked tirelessly to get the club organised for next year.

President presented Andrew with the Presidents regalia, 

President Andrew Thomas thanked David and presented him with a Past Presidents lapel pin.

President Andrew spoke of his time in Rotary over 20 years service, the projects, achievements and the people we have helped be it financially or by action.

He is proud of the link that has been forged with Honiton Primary School which started with a letter from pupils Chloe and Phoebe asking for help.  Head teacher Chris Tribble is joining us on the 11th July 2023 to give a talk, Andrew will present a Friend of Rotary Certificate to him.

We received thank you cards from the pupils of Honiton Primary School who we supported in their recent trip to London.
