Monday 17th May 2023; President's Night
The Club's annual "President's Night" was held at Chavenage House on Monday 17th May 2023. Forty two Rotarians and partners attended.
Forty two members and partners and friends attended an excellent evening at Chavenage House to celebrate President John Francksen's year.
Following a group photo,(where Poldark was filmed,) Pimms was served.
There was an excellent three course meal including port.
The meal was interrupted on numerous occasions by Master of Ceremonies Richard Belliiss with quests wanting to 'take wine.'
Short but very appropriate speeches were then made by President John, who thanked all medmbers and supporters for an excellent year of activity and support for him. He toasted 'Our guests.' A vote of thanks by member and long time friend Rob Marrow followed.
