When : Rotary District Assembly 22/04/23

Reason: 

Creating and establishing a resilience response system for Rotary across SE England during Covid. While also being the Rotary first point of call for the NHS, the Kent Resilience Forum and the Voluntary & Community Sector Emergency Response for SE England. 

Also established was an emergency mentor support across Medway in partnership with the Council. A team were brought together to review and support with covid grants. The network remains in place. 

In there own words: 

"Was full on as I got late night calls for support at short notice from Medway to Folkestone London and Southampton. Rotarians we’re just brilliant and turned out!!even over Christmas!! ... Rotarians were amazing. I did not over 2 years get a negative response from the team of 13"
