Subject: Festung Guernsey.
Steve Powell and Paul Bourgaize from Festung Guernsey will present some of the restoration and preservation work the voluntary group carries out on many of the local WW2 German Fortifications.
The group manages a number of sites including the massive Batterie Mirus, the Fort Hommet headland and a number of bunkers a L`Ancresse.
Steve and Paul will also give an insight into how technology is helping to record history and make some of our local sites accessable to schools and people off island.
