The Rotary End Polio Now campaign

Rotary is an international community that brings together leaders who step up to take on the world’s toughest challenges, locally and globally. The eradication of polio is one of our longest standing and most significant efforts.

Along with our partners Rotary has helped immunise more than 2.5 billion children against Polio in 122 countries.

We have helped reduce polio cases by 99.9% worldwide and we wont stop until we end the disease for good.

Until the disease is eradicated for good there is always a chance that it will start spreading around the world again - that is why it is so important to keep the immunisation campaign going.

To find out how this has been brought about and the plans to finish the job of ridding the world of only the second public health disease in history, go to endpolio.org.

If you wish to help Medway Sunlight Rotary Club in this campaign please visit our giving page -  https://bit.ly/2YXBYMyd where every penny you donate goes to the cause - and is trebled by the generosity of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.  In other words every pound donated is worth £3 to the End Polio Now campaign.

Thank you !
