Rotary Christmas Lunch

This being the last Friday before Christmas, we will be holding our special Christmas Lunch, with the usual packed programme. This will be the last lunch meeting of the year. there are no meetings on 27th December or 3rd January.


Our Annual Christmas Lunch, which is our last meeting in 2019, will be held on Friday 20th December. At present we are expecting between forty and fifty peole to attend. 

The guestswill include the Lord Mayor of Newcsatle upon Tyne, representatives of the various charities we have supported this year and the assistant minister of Jesmond Parish Church, Rev Jon Teasdale, who will bring us the Christmas Message. This year's Christmas Appeal, which will be made during lunch, is in aid of the charity "Daft as a Brush"

The menu this year is

Starter: a choice of Mushroom Soup or Prawn Cocktail

Main Course: a choice of Roast Turkey, Salmon or Vegetable Wellington

Sweet: a choice of Christmas Pudding or Blackberry Cheesecake

Tea or coffee with Mince Pies.
