Antiques evening preview to a 3-day auction of jewellery and other collectibles.

Nailsworth Rotary is holding a Fundraising event on Tuesday 10th  September, 6.45 for 7.00pm, at Stroud Auction Rooms. This is an antiques evening preview of the regular quarterly 3-day sale which starts the following day.

The evening will be hosted by Nick Bowkett, Head Auctioneer, whose knowledge of antiques is impressive. Nick specialises in Ceramics, Asian art, Paintings and Pictures.

The co-host will be Alexandra Bowkett FGA, DGA, Head of the Jewellery Department which has become the largest department at Stroud Auction Rooms, with between 500-1000 lots in each of its quarterly auctions. The wide array of jewellery covered in these auctions includes costume jewellery and amber amongst the more conventional antique and period jewellery. Jewellery is regularly sold to clients across the globe and is shipped throughout Europe and to destinations such as China and the USA.

Nick and Alexandra have appeared on ITV’s Celebrity Bargain Hunt and BBC’s Celebrity Antiques Road Trip.

The Antiques and Collectibles auctions on 11th, 12th and 13th September will include jewellery, silver, bijouterie, watches, clocks, coins and textiles. For further details: https://www.stroudauctions.co.uk/

Proceeds from this event will be given to local Rotary charities.
