Fiona McQueen, Nursing Now - Improving Health, One Patient at a Time

Professor Fiona McQueen, Scotland's Chief Nursing Officer, will be speaking to us on Thursday 28th November - visitors welcome.


Professor Fiona McQueen has been Scotland's Chief Nursing Officer since 2015. She chairs the Scottish Executive Nurse Directors group which provides strategic leadership for all of Scotland's nursing and midwifery workforce. Previously, she was Executive Nurse Director for NHS Ayrshire and Arran for 15 years.

Charlie Boax, who attends Grange Academy, was the winner of our local Rotary Young Musician competition. On Sunday, 23 April 2023, Charlie competed in the RIGBI Young Musician Final in Manchester and was again successful.
