James McKee on iDEA - Visitors especially welcome

James will be speaking to us on Thursday 17th.


The UK Government predicts that within 20 years, 90% of all jobs will require digital skills - to help bridge this gap East Ayrshire Council has partnered with iDEA and I am keen to promote this amongst businesses, communities and across our workforce.

iDEA is a FREE digital learning programme for people of all ages living, learning or working in East Ayrshire. it has been developed to help inspire people all over the world to become digital citizens, workers, makers, entrepreneurs and gamers to enhance their employability and to help them become economically active. 

iDEA is for everyone. Adults and young people can access the programme for free, and you can learn on your own, in a group, or together as a family - from your phone, tablet or computer.

Charlie Boax, who attends Grange Academy, was the winner of our local Rotary Young Musician competition. On Sunday, 23 April 2023, Charlie competed in the RIGBI Young Musician Final in Manchester and was again successful.
