President Linden Warburton welcomed members to the weekly meeting and meal. The speaker was Immediate Past President Mairhi Trickett who took members on a photographic trip to Israel. She had travelled there with 15 members of her church in Finstown, Orkney in 2010. They started on the Mount of Olives, moving on to Jerusalem and then Bethlehem, before travelling to Masada and the Dead Sea. They then moved north to the Sea of Galilee and Nazareth. Well known Bible stories came to life as we saw the photographs of the Holy Land, which none of the members had visited. Rotarian Jane Cox gave the vote of thanks.
President Linden then reminded members that they would be lawn bowling next week and arrangements were made for the Coffee Morning at Trinity Church Hall on 10th August which will be raising money for international projects this year.
