Rtn Andrew Vince: Job talk

Thu, Sep 26th 2019 at 1:00 pm - 2:15 pm

Andrew told us something about his background.

Andrew Vince

Our newest member, Andrew Vince, gave us his job talk today.

He originally studied horticulture at what is now Writtle University College but after leaving found himself working for engineering companies. He had a number of jobs since, despite the fact that he was in a management position, he was occasionally made redundant. He finally retired in 2018.

He has been active for a long time in his local community and his local church, acting as churchwarden for 25 years. He has completed his ordination training and hopes to be ordained as a deacon next year and as a priest the following year.

He is at his most content working in his garden and admitted he wished he had pursued a horticultural career.
