President Douglas Dow welcomed twelve other members, and commented on the success of Friday's annual Wine Tasting in the Commodore Hotel which is thought to have raised some £500 for the local Alzheimers Scotland branch.
Henri van der Stighelen spoke about history of the internal combustion engine on its 125th anniversary, and fellow engineer Alastair Wilson proposed the vote of thanks.
The weekly raffle for a whisky miniature was won by Adam Muggoch.
