H&S Info

The permitted number for a tour, when the WTS isn’t processing is 25 and I will need a full list of those attending. The tour normally takes approximately 1½ hours which allows for organising Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), a safety induction session, the tour and any questions.

The usual format for anyone attending the site is as follows:

  • On arrival everyone will be supplied with PPE - a hard hat, safety glasses, disposable gloves and Hi-Visibility tabard.
  • Before actually going onto the main site there will be a compulsory Health and Safety induction session (approx. 15 minutes) in the Facilities Building.

I must also advise that in order to comply with Health & Safety regulations non-slip/fully enclosed boots or shoes, NOT trainers, must be worn and shorts, skirts and short sleeves are NOT permitted.

That's it for now

Best regards

Nigel
