The group consisted of 35 young people
accompanied by 30 adult volunteers. They were away for 4 nights at Hindleap
Warren in the Ashdown Forest. Each of the young people took part in a wide
variety of activities including climbing, zip wire, canoeing, abseiling, high
ropes, orienteering and bushcraft. In the evenings they did swimming, a camp
fire, a night walk and put on a show. They were able to grow in confidence,
tackling greater challenges as the holiday went on. They worked as a team to
solve problems, they learnt more about each other as they shared dormitories.
