WALKIES 10 April 2019
5 of us, Steve, Sally, Shirley, her cousin Sue and I, (6 with Nova the dog), walked from Kimmeridge to Kingston - and back - totalling 18k - about 11 miles - 30,000 steps and the equivalent altitude of 130 flights of stairs!!
It was a gruelling walk and we were tired and aching at the end, particularly me, since only 5 days before I had been struck down by a horrible virus whereby I lost 4lb overnight!! I suffered severe cramp but completed the walk with help and encouragement from the others.
The penultimate walk is scheduled for WEDNESDAY 24 April when we will cover some of the proposes Final Walk route as a taster.
The FINAL WALK is on SUNDAY 12 May 2019.
