Visit to BBC's Plymouth Studios

Members of the Rotary Club of Plymouth enjoyed a visit to the Seymour Road studios.
A number of members of the club had a very enjoyable and informative visit to the BBC's studios in Seymour on Tuesday 19th March. Our able escourt was Emma Clements who first explained how the Spotlight team put their programme together. We watched the lunch time edition of Spotlight as it was broadcast. This included hearing directions being received by Justin as he was broadcasting. Once over we entered the actual studio where Justin was able to answer the many questions we put to him.
This was followed by a visit to the 'gallery' where the various roles were explained and finally we visited Radio Devon studio.
Thank you BBC and all the staff who made the visit so imforative and enjoyable.
