Youth Activities - Areas 4 & 5

Meeting for all Youth Specialists and those interested in all Youth Events at The Pavilion, Hatherley Lane, Cheltenham GL51 6PN


The aim is to get the clubs from Areas 4 and 5 together to celebrate and share best practice around youth competitions and activities. 

A rough outline for the evening is:

6.30pm : arrivals. Tea and coffee available

6.45pm : Welcomes, health & safety by Andy

6.50pm : Introductions. One person per club to present one thing that is working and one challenge.

7.10pm : Recap of current youth programmes and activities by Andy 

7.20pm : Overview of Rotary GB&I Root & Branch Youth Review by Andy www.rotarygbi.org/members/humanitarian-service-programmes/youth-service

7.30pm : Discussion. Sharing of best practice and how Clubs can work better together  

8.50pm : Recap of agreed actions by Andy

9.00pm : Evening ends

It would be very helpful if all Clubs could kindly bring any materials relating to any of the competitions, programmes or activities they offer.

Each Club should let Andy Jarrett know before 28th June how many from their Club are attending.

Memorial Benches

Presentation of 2 benches one at the Recreation Field, Dursley, representing 70 years of Dursley Rotary and one at the Sculpture Trail, Dursley, in memory of Mike Doughty who sadly died 2 June 2022 (Bench temporarily removed due to Council works)
